Since joining Venture Advisors in 2005, Jim has served as the CFO for over 50 early stage, start-up, and growth stage companies including SaaS, Enterprise software and hardware, semiconductor, media, and ad-supported web-based companies. In addition to his day-to-day CFO client responsibilities, Jim works closely with his clients to obtain equity and debt financing, create strategic alliances, assist with board presentations, perform financial forecasting and develop financial modeling.

Prior to joining Venture Advisors, Jim served as VP of Finance for Emulex, a NYSE listed company that acquired Giganet for $450M during his tenure.  Before Giganet, Jim held multiple CFO and finance positions in the venture-backed tech start-up space.
